1. Why is it important to maintain clean air ducts?

The need for cleaning arises because during operation of the HVAC system dirt, debris, allergens and other particulate build up over time in the air ducts which may adversely effect the indoor air environment and performance of the system.

2. How often should I clean the air ducts in my building?

The HVAC units should be inspected annually for cleanliness.  Visually inspect the supply and return air ducts every two years.  If visible inspection reveals a high level of particulate build up in the air ducts or particulate matter is being discharged from the vents, then cleaning the air duct system is recommended.

3. How do you clean an air duct system?

For best results, Duct Clean Corporation prefers to employ the use of brushing and contact cleaning, whenever possible. The results are excellent and the cleaning methods we use will not damage components or alter the integrity of an HVAC system.

4. How do you know if your HVAC system was cleaned properly?

The best way to determine if an HVAC system was effectively cleaned is to perform a visual inspection of the system before and after cleaning.  The cleaning contractor should be able to allow you sufficient access to visually inspect the system.  Make sure the contractor has installed enough access panels in the ducts to reach the entire system.

5. Does your company use temporary employees?

Duct Clean Corporation does not use temporary employees.  Our employees, most of who have been with us for years, are given annual back round checks as part of our security clearance procedures. You won’t find crews anywhere more dedicated to meeting customer expectations.

6. Will air duct cleaning disrupt the operations in my facility?
